Duties and Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy:

  • Develops the company's social media strategy based on top management directions, market analytics and environmental scan
  • Monitors trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy

Content Management

  • Administers the creation and publication of relevant, original and high-quality content
  • Prepares creative briefs based on customer / research / data mining analytics
  • Evaluates agency proposals on creative execution vs strategy
  • Evaluates quality of creative materials against specifications*Critiques social media briefs and content submitted by content owners
  • Creates a regular publishing schedule
  • Implements a content editorial calendar to manage content and plan specific, timely marketing campaigns
  • Guides content owners in promoting and advertising in social media

Engagement and Conversion Management

  • Monitors social listening to ensure customers are replied to
  • Builds an active brand ambassador network to spread the word about the company by transforming clients and employees into authentic and active brand ambassadors
  • Resource Management
  • Tracks advertising and promotions budget
  • Prepares social media reports
  • Manages third party resources (designers, writers, and other agency personnel)

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have at least a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations, English, Marketing or equivalent.
  • A minimum of one year experience in Social Media, Communications, Marketing or comparable is required
  • Must have experience using Google AdWords and MailChimp
